Coming from a European background, Georgiana has always been interested in dance. She has been dancing since she was 8 years old, starting with ballet. After receiving 2 scholarships, she had made the decision that ballet was not for her, though improving her technique dramatically. The following year, Georgiana was introduced to salsa, and was instantly hooked. While participating in other styles as well, such as flamenco, hip-hop, and jazz, she started performing locally, getting experience with stage presence and crowd appeal. Once acknowledging salsa as one of her more serious hobbies, Georgiana began to train harder and harder, earning her and her partner many titles, such as Salsapalooza 2007, as well as 2008, professional/advanced champions, Edmonton overall dance champions and Calgary overall dance champions. Dance has taken Georgiana far, such as performing with the best at the Montreal Salsa Convention in 2008. Receiving instruction from the best in the world, she has broadened her style and has taken up teaching. Currently enjoying her time teaching with Maxwell, Georgiana’s next up and coming project is choreographing and performing with the girl’s group of Unique Dance Co.
